Video Devices:

MediCap is able to use of video capture devices like DV camcorders, HD camcorders, USB web cams, IP Cameras, PCI composite and digital capture cards, TV cards, USB capture devices and firewire (IEEE1394) cameras.

To connect the MediCap to the medical devices (USG, endoscopy devices, colposcopy, microscopes etc.) you need:

- A capture card or a TV card installed to your system

DICOM Viewer Unit:

Medical images are often distributed in DICOM format. DICOM is the industry standard for medical images - CTs, MRI and ultrasound images are often saved in DICOM format. MediCap displays most medical images files (automatically recognizing DICOM, NEMA, Siemens, GE, Picker, Elscint and many other formats). MediCap also able to view 2D and 3D DICOM files.
